Live in the now


Probably the best advice there is.

It inspired me into trying to make the effort and acknowledge the now. Actually, this is really hard to do. For a person like me, always planning, always following-up on milestones, it’s hard to take a step back and be here, in the present.

What helped me?!

Getting away from devices. Of all kind, laptop, phone, TV, radio. I just open the window (if I am too busy to take a longer break and go to the balcony), breathe in the air and listen to the noise (be it birds singing or cars passing or neighbor-related noises).

Try and make a habit of it, at least once a day. It works wonders because it helps one disconnect.
