Ileana Vulpescu’s literature is like a glass of water that is offered before one realizes one is thirsty. One enjoys it and only when the water reaches one’s mouth does one realize how much one needed that water.
Every one of the books written by
this great writer is an invitation to retrospection, to opening ears and minds.
The most beautiful phrase from reading this book (The Art of Compromising) is:
Do not share all that you know, do not
believe everything you hear, do not do all that you can do!
